#chatgpt is creating interesting possibilities. Should we also start thinking how we should address this amazing invention entering our lives?
Since #chatgpt is displaying superior knowledge to the seeker, should one be more respectful/ deferential when asking a question?
Maybe say, “Respected Sir/Dr./Prof./Ms./Mrs., Sri Sri Sri ChatGPT Garu, Honorable ChatGPT, ChatGPT avare, Your Highness, Your Excellency, Boss…”.
Or get more intimate since there is a wavelength match: “Dear, My sweet cucumber, Honeybunch, You Naughty Thing, Love, Sunshine…”
Start a question with…”Please, I beg you, Kindly…”
In some cultures, inanimate things also get due respect, so that it protects/saves/partners well with humans who use them. Example, Ayudha puja is celebrated in many parts of India where tools of everyday use are revered and honored on a particular day. #chatgpt is a tool too.
Will the results get any better over time and will the AI tool also start responding to respect/endearments positively, and – maybe – produce more results if asked nicely? The possibilities are endless. 🙂
